I miss teaching because of students like Roberts. A sweet and charming kid. I especially missed hearing one of my students screaming my name from his school bus in Virginia Beach and others leaving me notes on my desk apologizing for bad behavior on behalf of their peers. My students loved me, and I loved them. But financially, it was a struggle. That's the story of many teachers. I'll go back to education if they pay us more. Been out of the classroom now since June 2019.

I wish they would hold the applause until the end or at least tone it down until Tamron is finished speaking. She had to practically yell louder to be heard and as she had to raise her voice louder, the audience got louder. It was ridiculous. I didn’t could barely hear what she said about the prize. I have been a member of a few TV show audiences and there is a person there guiding and directing the audience when to applause.
