@@TheRealAndiBar Sure, normally i would agree with that. But these guys are playing hardcore. Normally your first time playing wow is not hardcore. The game is not that difficult but this version of wow is 20 years old. There is plenty of jank and things that will just kill you without warning if you don't know about it. And there's often no way of knowing about it without experiencing it first hand or by being told by someone else. The game was never designed with hardcore in mind. Like in this clip. Those packs above are not supposed to be able to be pulled like that, but if there's a small curb and/or the larger hitbox from a tauren they will be anyway.

Hes super lucky to survive that after making so many mistakes: No inner fire before and during the fight, not a single renew casted on himself, his self clicking ui, mindblast after fear...wtf(probably misclicked shield ), no bandage, used (probably) restorative potion for no reason, used (slow) heal instead of flash heal after he used inner focus and almost died...as a previous priest it hurt me seeing all this.

@psycexd it's how LOS works. It also happens in retail where 1 race can cast over a fence (tauren) but another can't because they are short (Gnome). I believe it's the same concept going on where the dwarves can see the Tauren where other races can safely approach the wall and be LOS of the mobs ontop.

It was 100% the wrong call. They lost most of their health in the flamethrower room and ultimately had to fight anyway, with their backs against the wall and without any possibility to LoS. They had a winning chance in the original room, but none in this corridor

Ideally you los the pull, but in that position once the bad pull happens, everyone should go into that corner to los clump the 3 packs. They have 2 warriors with challenging shout retaliate, a mage, and a combat rogue with bladeflurry. They could of aoe cleared that once clumped, maybe lose 1 player if healer ooms out since its a big pull, but that open room with fire was death.

the panicking got them killed, they had so many on low health that this would have been possible, but I am a sweat so it be what it is. This is why you need some one in command that is a sweat and people listen too. That and the indecisiveness, that is most likely what got them killed over panicking the more I think about it. Decide and dedicate to that decision, only once the tank dies do you figure out what to do.

My suggestion to getting the non sweats back is maybe create check points, have them get mob tagged by a sweat to the the closest tens spot rounded down, and maybe start it at like 30, that way they still have the pain of trying to level but its less punishing and they can maybe meet the deadline

Also Grubby AOE farming mobs all the time just to get to lvl 60 without really reading quest logs and not really enjoying WoW as a result despite being a new player (just because someone told him it's the quickest and most efficent way of leveling), while in WC3, where he could actually play like he wanted to, he liked to take his sweet time during a match and try a lot of different strategies even when playing the same race all the time...lol

This is kindaaa what happens when you play a game that was never meant to be played as Hardcore, as Hardcore XD I was counting my blessings I was able to hit max without dying in my playthrough, and not experience bugs that some of these streamers have.
