Whoever did the painting has never seen a black baby before. The palms & bottom of the feet should be lighter with pink under tones.. Please clean off most of the paint on her hands & feet.

Her feet and and hands should be pink on bottom and her palms. I think they wanted all the same color. Real AA babies are not. She is adorable bald. She is beautiful

Her husband is probably a smoker or the carrier was smoking around the package. I always ask for people to wrap the baby's up in bags. You can put her parts in baking soda for four weeks after you empty the glass beads out of her doll limbs and rinse her glass beads in dish soap and bleach. And put the rest of her body in the washer after you removed the glass beads to. But sorry you're baby arrived like that. Ive had some doozies to and I've cleaned the baby's myself.

No, she wasn't sold to me as new. No, she wasn't a custom. Yes, the seller should be a bit embarrassed about the smoking issue, but she was nice enough to send me some personal gifts. She will be a good project for me. I like having projects to do, especially reborn ones.

The film on the bottom of the foot might be varnish that wasn’t allowed to fully dry before baking, or wasn’t blended/blotted enough with the sponge/brush.

Her face and skin tone are very beautiful. Just needs a little TLC. Then she'll really be yours. I've used white charcoal from Amazon and Gain dryer sheets in a kitchen garbage bag to get rid of the smoke odor. Please post when she's been spiffied up. She looks precious without the wig too!

She already is a new baby. I worked very hard on her. I replaced all her original weighting/stuffingthrew; I replaced her cloth body; I washed her in Dawn & baking soda; I clipped her rooted eyelashes; I gave her a coat of air dry matte varnish; I re-tipped her nails; I painted hair on her; I repainted the bottoms of her feet; I gave her some eyebrows; I lightened her lip color a bit; I varnished the tiny holes where the wig was fastened and now you can barely see them. She is my favorite Kyra to date, and I've reborned 6!

Were you able to get the smoke out of her? I bought a full body silicone doll in 2021 who smelled like smoke and was fully wrapped up so I couldn't tell! I've never gotten the smell out of her and I understand how you feel! What happened since?

I took her completely apart, threw out all her weighting and stuffing, bought her a new cloth body, put the clothing I wanted in the wash, soaked her vinyl parts in Dawn, put baking soda inside her vinyl for a day, put a baby powder wafer in her body, and I don't smell it anymore. I love her now!

The seller did not tell me the truth about someone in the house smoking cigarettes and she needs to be worked on quite a bit. The bottoms of her feet are missing paint, blotchy paint, etc. Her wig was supposed to be unattached, and it was attached with pins, leaving small holes in her vinyl. That's what's so terrible.

@@detraabbott- A seller who lies about cigarette smoking is the problem here. A seller who doesn't tell you a wig is attached with PINS making holes in the vinyl is the problem here. A seller who sells you a doll with a diaper cover that is stretched out in the waist and is full of imperfections and too large even for a toddler is a problem. A seller who sells you a doll with a wig that is a 'rat's nest' and cannot even be combed is a problem. As a matter of fact, Detra, you have suddenly become a problem to me, so I would appreciate it if you would simply not watch any more. There are plenty of other videos for you to watch.
