Hi Kate. Just wanted to educate you a little bit. When you say things (as you have) like ‘its important to me that gay people dont throw it in your face’, that is a homophobic thing to say. It implies that you are okay with gay people only as long as they are like you, and that the thing that makes them different, isnt visible. Gay people have went through a huge amount of struggle, it’s 2021, can you just accept them irregardless of whether their ‘gayness’ is visible or not?

@@Ravenclaw123roman Where have I made fun of Kate? What have I said that is ableist in any way, shape or form? A couple of Kates comments on her lgbt video are definitely influenced by homophobia, namely where she says she thinks it is important for people in the community to be ‘subtle’ about their sexuality and when she congratulates people who are gay but when it isn’t apparent. This reinforces the idea that being gay is something to be ashamed of and that it’s only really acceptable if the person isn’t obviously gay. Why does it matter?
