Hey! I had planned on doing a full review, but have put it aside so I apologize for that! While I may still make one, here are my thoughts. It plays very well for the price, has decent spin (paint grit however, so probably not consistent 6 months or so down the road), and has a good sized sweet spot. My biggest reason I would not use it as my main paddle is that it is not the most powerful paddle, so putting the ball away takes a little more effort, but I think it is great for beginners and intermediates, especially since less power usually helps people improve quicker. It also has a pretty heavy static weight, so that's something else to keep in mind. Thanks for your comment!

Good video. I’m a new player and almost bought a pair of these for myself and my wife. I ended up going with Vulcan V540 Hybrids even though I couldn’t find any review on that paddle. So far, I’m loving the Vulcans.

Glad you’re liking them! I almost got one of the Vulcans at pro pickleball event, but just missed catching it in the stands 😅 Would have loved to give it a review but glad they’re working for you guys! Thanks for your comment! 😁

Do you think it's cheaper carbon or some sort of cheaper pressing technique? Grit sprayed on makes sense for the price
@jordanplayspickle7 ай бұрын
Yeah, I'm wondering what it might be! I'm guessing a grit on a cheaper carbon fiber, but I'll find out before the full review! Even if that is what they're doing, if the paddle performs well, it will still be a good choice because you could realistically get a lot of life out of two paddles for less than a 100!

still waiting on the follow up video

Sorry that I haven’t made a follow for this video! I can give you my thoughts here really quick though. I really like these paddles, they very, very similar to all thermoform paddles that I have used in the past, and they have the spray texture, I think for the price it is more than fine! My biggest complaint is that the static weight is pretty heavy so they’re not for everyone because of that. Hope that helps!

thank you for doing a review as soon as you got it in the mail with zero experience.

If you read the title, it's labeled "First Look" which is another way of saying it's just an unboxing hah! I had planned on doing a full review, but have put it aside so I apologize for that!
