His coat has the sheen of a champagne. Gorgeous boy!

I don’t know if it’s the quality of light, but your buckskin horses look similar to the Akhal Teke. Beautiful.

I really noticed the paddling, too, but I don't think it bothers any.

Many gaited horses reach so under themselves from the backend to avoid hit themselves it has become part of the breeds.
@judithbliss75674 жыл бұрын
@@rhondaserges5136 You mean that the paddling in the front is a reaction from the back feet reaching so far under them? I haven't seen that when watching most gaited horses...I used to think it was more of a shoulder being too straight, but as long as he can motor like that I guess it is a normal way of going.

Gorgeous, but he paddles badly with right front much like a Paso Fino.

He's a beauty but what kind of bit is that? It looks really cruel. I hope it's just a fancy snaffle bit? Wow. And he's a bit knock kneed in front. Paddlefoot.
@PaulaR-mp9di Жыл бұрын
The bit does have a long shank and the curb action is being used to keep the head up. I don't like to see horses move this way as it hollows the back and stiffens the neck, but it seems that all the fast gaiting and racking horses hold themselves this way. It makes me believe that this head carriage a result of training. Really hate the appearance of the horse hanging on the rider's hands or visa-versa. I much prefer to see a rounded relaxed neck and back and a relaxed way of going and have seen many beautiful. gaited horses with natural movement on a relaxed rein. I would look for that in any prospect.
