That's absolutely key. Shania made this video as a direct response to Robert Palmers iconic video 'Addicted To Love' and by so doing, pays her own special tribute to the late great man. Shame all this seems to have been lost on almost everyone.

This is canadian royalty! She’s amongst canadian artist that whichever genre of music you prefer all are proud of her success. She came from a poor family and hard youth in a northern rural town. Thank you Asia & BJ for sharing this Shania Twain song. It's a great, fun song. I've been wanting to recommend to you guys to give a listen to Janis Joplin (if you haven't already). She had a voice like you wouldn't believe. She was like the queen of rock and roll in the late 1960s. A couple of good ones are "Cry Baby" and "Me And Bobby McGee", but everything that she did was off the charts. Hope you get to check her out. Take care and stay safe guys.

This video actually was a response to Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love". She literally just reversed the gender roles. In his video, he performed in front of a bunch of female models "playing" the instruments with the exact same facial expressions as the male models here.

Divorced for good reasons. Lowest of low..but agree on his positive affect on her career.. but sad she loved him and he betrayed her. Later I heard she remarried.. hope she's happy.. such a tough early life having to raise her siblings after parents died when she was still so young.
