From what I've read, the Francisca was thrown in mass volley's. And the men who used them often carried two or three of them.

I got mine, but its been way to cold and now snow on the ground. Too test it out. Guess I have a few months to wait. I also touched up the edge of mine. It was also used as a melee weapon. So a good all around weapon.

It feels good in the hand and it wouldn’t surprise me if they used them that way. They weigh almost nothing but hit pretty hard

Axe! Told ya. It's my favorite throwing axe. Mine's a Windless and it doesn't have "Fat Cheeks". I actually thought about ordering a Condor because it is a bit thicker and heavier and I'd like to see how it throws in relation to the one I have. As always enjoyed the video.

Looked up Francisca axes online and from what I saw this is the best style and head shape of anything that's out there, I would definitely stay with this one from Condor, however I would shorten the handle for throwing.

Axe. Never used a friction-fit axe before. I have several throwing axes with wedge-fit heads. This Condor one looks cool, though.
