A Tight Audition Deadline | Day in the Life of an Actor 2022

hey if you don’t mind me asking, what’s your source of income that supports your day to day life + acting

I’ve talked about it in my Q&A, but TLDR my father passed away when I was young and then when my grandmother passed away in 2014 I inherited some of her money as well. It’s a weird privilege, and why I don’t feel comfortable advising people on what side-gigs to take. That being said, there are actor friends of mine without inherited wealth that make it work with a side-gig or two. Some coach or do translation services, some bartend or wait tables. It’s tough, but they make it work by being smart with their money. My money from acting fluctuates, but is steadily increasing year after year. I’ve got it to the point where it pays about as much as a part time job right now. Definitely work on some sort of side hustle as you audition. It’ll keep you afloat financially and keep your head about you.

Really strong villain, or, maybe a man that is broke and out of luck, possible addict who is going through an emotional break up with his girlfriend/wife. Something that will get you out of your comfort zone, a homeless guy or almost one may be the right thing.
