Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for all You have done for me throughout my life, even while You were knitting me inside my mother’s womb. I can’t thank You enough for all You have done for me, especially in sending Your Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. Today, I want to pray for You to prepare my heart to follow Your call. I pray that I will be alert and ready for when You call me to do something, to go somewhere, or to change something about myself to shine my light for You. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ 🙏 For the faithfulness of this true man of God! Who I have been blessed to be listening to on the radio since I was pregnant with my oldest daughter who is now 40!!! The very first scripture that the Lord our God ever gave to me when she was 6 weeks old is the following... " The Lord is with me whom shall I fear, what can man do unto me." Speaking God's Word outloud is an amazing tool that never fails! Psalm 91 is our God's faithful promise 🙏 Courage is not the absent of the emotion of uneasiness at times in our lives. Rather the determination to believe God will meet U.S. at every turn and challenge that presents itself. When David was a mere Shepard boy he stood up against the giant that strong bold grown men were fearful to take on. David who later went on to be chosen to be a King to lead his people courageously did not defeat the giant with his own will or strength. Rather it was his faith in God's power!! That had not failed him in the past. David proclaimed the Words of courage spoken outloud and then trusted our God to bless his actions with success! King David proclaimed; " Not by might nor by power But by MY SPIRIT Saith the Lord!" We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony!!! When we speak life we are trusting our God to protect defend and lead our lives! Oh no. In Touch, PLEASE don’t go back to chopping these classic sermons in half again! There is no excuse for that, and it robs people of Dr. Stanley’s full teaching. I was so excited and even sent encouraging messages to In Touch thanking you guys for bringing back the full, uncut, hour-long sermons over the last three weeks or so, which is how they were aired for 45 years or so. But this week, the program is right back to cramming two sermons together and cutting them both in half. I absolutely hate that format, for the reasons stated above, and I know I can’t be alone. Please resume airing full-length sermons, 1 at a time (2 at once is confusing, especially when the sermon subjects are different), just as you did for the first 3 Sundays of January, which were perfect. Thank you!!!
