this mother direct specifically was very chunky. sad that this was the last mother direct but excited to see what they do in regards to the rpg direct.

Heyo, Connected Fates dev here! I don't comment on videos often, but I got such a whiplash when I realized you were talking about the Mother Direct! It was such an awesome event, thanks for making a video on it, and for showing my game, of course! :D Also, you've gotta play Mother 3! Even without the context of the other games, it's still such a lovely experience even as its own thing!

This is great to see! I love seeing how people still make mother-likes. I’m currently working on a mother-like myself in RPG maker (console version), all of these games have a lot of potential :D

The mother franchise being left behind by nintendo somehow made it so that nintendo doesnt care enough to go around and punish those that create fan projects, it is really funny how things ended up the way it is. Like a loneyly flower that grew in the crack of the cement...

You gotta play Earthbound and Mother 3, at the very least play Mother 3, you don’t need to play Mother 1, it’s very janky and I’d just wait for one of the fan remakes

RPG Maker is now also an asset for Unity for greater customization

Man, if YIIK and Other is coming out this year, and so many of these le quirkys are too, I'm kinda sad for these games being washed in a saturated market 'cause I ain't dealing with all that.
