Brad, I absolutely love your meticulous eye for detail. If I ever built a house, I would want you to build it, and i would know it was in good hands. As a carpenter renovating my 1950s home that someone flipped, i have found a lot of really bad shortcuts. My motto is "I'm going to fix this the right way, whatever the cost is."

I’ll keep you up-to-date I hope to start working on my pond this week. I still have to find a way to get the 4500 pound tarp out of the trees from the tornado.! Nate moved to whitefish Montana because his job allows him to work from anywhere and they like all the outdoor activities that whitefish has to offer

Brad you can fix that aluminum siding on the house with bondo if it's not has at least 5 or 9 places. Good luck just replace it with a new "hardy board" siding. 😊

Insurance is supposed to replace it like new and using Bondo to fill. The holes is not acceptable.

LP isn't for cheap houses. It is for any dollar amount of property. And when you go to Diamond Kote you will have a product that last forever and never have to paint. Hell if you do an addition years later order more siding and it will match perfectly. Hardie isn't the best it is brittle and will break with a good impact.
