So much wasted space and money. If you have the money to piss away hire new build contractors!

It would be interesting to know how much that guy spends on good rope. I would have thought that there can only be so much usage before it's done

Some people think this is overrated. It’s not. I went through this, and it was not overrated. It’s exactly what it said, and if not even worse.

Wraps are important, so is the ground crew. And actually I’ve seen two people fall from 30 ft pines, they survived although broken down forever from cutting their safety rope, close miss.

I don't know what was funnier, the Forrest Gump reference or your tree cutter's reaction to it. It made me remember a joke I once heard. Q: What is Forrest Gump's computer password? A: 1Forrest1! (For those that haven't seen it (and you should, it's an all time classic), an infamous line in that movie was "run Forrest run".)🤣 I had a hard time watching this video, Brad. I'm with you... I don't like heights and I like falling trees even less😳! We had a huge wind storm the other day. I have a huge tree in my backyard and one of the massive branches broke off and took out my power, cable and phone line. I had my arborist come and deal with the immediate issue but she needs to come back and cut that part of the tree off entirely. She left the branches in the yard as she wasn't planning on being there and had to get back to her schedule, so what does my daughter do? Climbs the tree and cuts off a bunch more branches! I couldn't watch. This is the same child who later went and rented a chainsaw and bucked up all the wood into fire-pit length logs. 🙄🙏🏼 We've had our share of crap in the last month: washing machine died, basement flooded, my Jeep died (for good), the tree fell, her car died (in shop) and on the way to the mechanic it died-died. She wound up pushing it for four blocks while a friend steered. This girl of mine... she's 125lb soaking wet but has the heart of a viking. No one will ever tell her that she can't do something, haha. In fact, she was royally ticked when she went to rent the chainsaw because the young guy at the counter asked her if she was picking it up for her boyfriend or dad😤! She said "I reigned it in and didn't go psycho on him, but I did tell him that it was for me and asked him why he feels so threatened by a woman who can handle power tools".. That's my girl, haha💪🏽. This is the same kid that reminds me that instead of being handicapped, I am handi-capable. Anyways, here I've gone on and told a story that no one else probably cares to read and you possibly are tired of seeing, haha 🥱😂. Hope you are well, Brad and that the eagle stayed away from your chickens! Heather🇨🇦

Crazy thing is Brad Gino would hv done exactly that ! Wiped out the chicken coup , killed half the chickens and gave you a $100 off ? For the chickens? And u clean up after they clean up?
@zephyr14084 күн бұрын
? If you know what you’re doing, good? But you don’t need 20 yrs ; just hv enough experience! License and insurance ( bonded) so if all that telling me how good you are, then u fall outta the tree cause you will sooner or later ? Like a carpenter who falls off a ladder and shove his tri square into his back an inch? It happens ! Hopefully Nick will not do it on Brad’s “Live at 5 news reel” ! Back to the video! And! I might add a super interesting video Thk u Brad!

Are you going to re plant some white oak to replace them? All my friends were log'ers when I was in High-school it's very skilled work. Its also a financial Rollercoaster thats why they call it skid row. My girlfriend sister's boyfriend un- alived himself (at 21 year's old) under the stress of his truck breaking down and a limb cracking his windshield racking him up traffic tickets still trying to drive and in-turn being cut off from work. I still feel a bit guilty because he had just cut a massive pine tree hanging over our cabin and couldn't afford to pay him for that incredible work he did for us making that pine tree spin on the stumps access piont like a top away from the cabin with no ropes needed, it was a incredible skill he had . I had another friend go to jail for stealing a couple of acres of trees off of Tom Jones the singers summer home property. He was pretty desperate to do such a thing in the first place. Then in jail at just 21 years old it was pretty sad.

I helped cut trees one summer, and the impact the trees branches make as they hit the ground is frightening. I was more than 20 feet away and felt it in my boots. Hats off to those who do it for a living. 🫡
