You're quite right that the place is looking run-down. You were in Aberaeron just after this, which is where most of the County Council officers live, and it's a dead giveaway as to which town gets all the love and attention and most importantly, money...

@7.00 "a train shop, a model shop". That's 'Albert Ross' model shop, he's been there for 5,6,7 decades ? lovely fella.

Sadly, the proprietor Dai has passed away after many many years at the shop. However, his daughter and her husband have returned to run Albatross Models, and it's open to the public - and they even got the shutters fixed!
