I lived in Abu Dhabi in the 80's and 90s'. The beach used to be very nice and popular with lots of palm trees and it was free. Shame they now charge people. What they did is that they reclaimed land to extend the shore, ruining the old beach in the process and built an island in front of it which is where the heritage village is located. This probably explains the sludge you find at on the seabed as it now resembles a river. Used to be beautiful with waves and everything. A lot of the other beaches have been privatised.

OMW , that place is massive !Cost many millions , all very correct , just lacking some soul ? Are there many worshipers there ? Hmm Moroccan 'style' ? How does that work ? Not big on domes , know St Pauls and the Grand Mosque in Cairo , the chandelier is stunning ,the small ones in the entrance to St Marks in Venice are very cool .

I was at the Grande Mosque about 5 years ago, although we didn’t have a mall to walk through, we got in fairly quickly, it’s an amazing place for sure. Always watching , rarely commenting, keep it going

One of the best masjids that I have visited for sure and been there many times - best to see it at night. Might be my favourite masjid along with Masjid Istiqlal in Indonesia, Hassan II Mosque in Morocco, Blue Mosque in Turkey and Crystal Mosque in Malaysia after the Grand Mosques of Makkah and Madinah. Personally I actually prefer Abu Dhabi more than Dubai as a city although the latter was good too

Ok - I absolutely enjoy your videos. I spread the word to my friends. Now, I’m going to play producer. You need to get to the Bahamas. 150+ islands/Cays to explore. All different and all beautiful. The people and the water are the best. It would be really interesting to see some of the less traveled islands/Cays in the chain. It would also be interesting to see how it can be done on a reasonable budget. No doubt food is more expensive because with the exception of fish/conch/lobster it is mostly imported. I love the Bahamas yet have only visited 6 Islands/Cays. You don’t need to do all 150+ but maybe a mix for the known ones and the unknown ones. Just and idea. Keep up the great work.

No. There are many vacuum cleaners with many migrant workers that are treated like slaves.

All the migrant workers that we have ever met have only ever had positive things to say about their time there, even met some that have been able to open businesses back home because of the money earned in these countries. Obviously there are bad scenarios but it seems like some people think every single one of them are treated like that which simply isn't true. Even the three uber drivers that we met on this day all had great things to say, and they keep extending their visas to stay there. i actually asked one of them about the negative things said about the treatment there and he said its just western media being biased and focusing on the negative situations and never mentioning anything about the fact that the majority have way better lives now.

The islands around Abu Dhabi are mostly natural islands but they do tend to reshape the coasts/ beaches to make the islands into a better shape for development. And when they make artificial islands like Dubai they tend to choose a real island and reshape it by digging canals rather then building it from nothing
