It is a great place to go but right now it is overcrowded since everybody is going to parks these days. I went over Saturday and it was so crowded with people with no masks I left. Thanks for watching.

Dick, This was a wonderfully done video. I am researching various locations in Florida for an upcoming photography tour of your state. Awesome video! Is anyone else willing to share their experiences from here? I’m a hobbyist wildlife photographer and I want to go so bad but I’m so scared of accidentally running into alligators on the trails.

Don’t be afraid of alligators. Just use common sense and stay a reasonable distance away from them and they won’t bother you. I have been around them all my life and never had a problem. I say to be careful because some people don’t use common sense and want to take a selfie next to one. They are wild and can be dangerous if you’re stupid. Circle B is a great place to see wildlife including alligators. If you run into one on a trail just go the other way and leave them alone. Most of the time when I’ve run across them, which I have done on multiple occasions, just keep your distance and wait and they will move on and let you continue down the trail. They don’t just attack people unless you get between a mother and it’s babies, which is very rare. Thousands of people walk those trails every year and to my knowledge no one has ever been attacked by an alligator. I’ve seen lots of gators there over the years and taken lots of photos and videos of them. They are very interesting to see. Have fun.

Is it safe to hike there ? A bit scared of the gators but would love to see the park !!

It is safe as long as you use common sense. If an alligator is on the trail just don't get to close even if you have to go back the way you came. Alligators don't attack humans unless they are provoked, you get close to their babies, or you're close to the edge of the water and they think you're dinner. Pets are not allowed at CB for the latter. Pets are the size of their normal food so they can grab a dog if they are on the edge of the water. Like I said, just use common sense.
