Pride and Prejudice was set in Hertfordshire which is nowhere near as beautiful (Sorry Herts!)

They actually shot the 1995 TV series in the Cotswolds (the beautiful village of “Lacock, Wiltshire” stood in as Meryton), and in the 2005 adaption they used a stunning stone market town called “Stamford, Lincolnshire” (which is very much in the style of the Cotswolds - i.e. built entirely of honey coloured stone).

I would be tempted to turn the gold room into a Den or sitting room because of the beautiful light and ambience. Add a nice stereo, small tv, books, games etc. There are no rules in a house. Do what works for you. If you love the room than use it more.

The lamp is absolutely beautiful, but I do feel like it blends in with the background maybe a bit too much, in that it looses some of its extravagance. Then again, why not just leave it in there for a while and see how it looks and feels, and move it if you feel it looked better before!

Thank you for having a range of prices in the beautiful dress selection. Not all of us are in the higher budget range and I appreciate the thoughtfulness of searching for some that are in the lower price range. Hopefully my size will come back in stock before summer is out. Such beautiful scenery too, I miss shopping in small quaint stores rather than the big box grocery stores.

I never realized how enjoyable but physically demanding it is to garden and landscape ! We had about 30 ft of rock wall to move. It was about 3 ft high but I was pulling out 50 lbs bolders! But we had so much fun.

Enjoyed your content and the variety. I would love more info on the Cotswolds. Hope I can get there this year or next. The landscape is absolutely beautiful. The troughs will come in handy for your plantings. Make sure you do not keep them up against your hedges as they will kill the bottom of the hedge do to no sunlight on the lower level of the hedge. Delsford looks like a wonderful place to visit and shop.

Charlie is right ... the mint plants will /can grow everywhere... it can take over the whole garden. Best thing is to plant the mint in a cantainer to control the growth cycle. Mint plant took over my parents' 28 year old garden... Hot mess!!! Best wishes in gardening.😀
