Hello from Ukraine. Thanks a lot for your support of our country (you attached our little flag to your instruments -- for us is very important). I have a dream to make medieval and baroque music instruments, I have some progress in this. After a war (when Ukraine will win) I will continue.

The piano sounds like a mixture of harpsichord and piano, the higher notes sound piano but lower is harpsichord. Very interesting

Confused about the instrument descriptions on this video. e.g. the Clavichord looks very small.too small to be a "Hubert"copy; and the first Piano clip doesn't look or sound like such an early square piano. Is it worth a double check with Gary - surely one of the greatest American instrument makers ?

I’ll tell him you said so! Yes, the clavichord is a smaller version of the normal double fretted Hubert. I believe the original 1776 Hubert was destroyed during the war. The fortepiano was miced further away in the second clip, and hence, sounded more mellow. My mistake micing it so close in the first clip. Thanks for watching.

Qué pieza tocas en el forte piano?

Nice, but I'm disappointed. I was hoping, since the Italian has a buff stop, that a clip of it in use would be here (unless I missed it).

The last instrument has a fantastic singing sound. What kind of Clavichord is it?

The very last two clips are of a Square Fortepiano!
