A TOUR of Lely's BRAND NEW Factory! | Building Our Cow Palace - Ep61

This is a very special episode of our barn building series, because we get one of the first looks at Lely's newest factory in Pella, Iowa.
This factory is just two weeks old, but already is producing all the milking robots and central units for every order in North America. It's much larger than their previous factory (also located in Pella), and includes room for expansion as the market for brand new robot technology continues to climb around the world.
Even more exciting: our robots are on the line and we get to watch them come together and get tested.
We really appreciate Lely NA putting us up in Iowa and showing us around the community.

Pretty cool man. I drive by their Dutch HQ every day on my way to work. It's in a little town called Maassluis near the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. They really make top notch machines. Great tour, thanks!

My Lely is 11 years old now. Still running strong! This ones seems to be more quiet than the one we got. Dreaming about a trip to the factory in Netherland.😀 We live in Norhtern Norway.

Hey Andrew, really enjoyed the Lely tour. A couple names for your robots; Rosie and Astro. Rosie named from the robot maid from the Jetson’s and Astro their dog. I just thought of how futuristic having robots now milking cows that the Jetson’s come to mind. Cheers.

Yes it is. Just up the road from their old factory.
