But we can recreate yo a certain extent in or own homes. Those types of things and things she has done was in another time just everyday happenings and houses were small. I grew up in a small cozy house with would burning stoves. I still look at for things that remind me of my childhood. I have a small cottage I can clean in a day. Yay for small houses!

Magical. Just flawless taste... But I collect vintage tinsel trees as well & though those big trees are beautiful, I don't think they look much like the originals. I know some might like seeing things you can go right out & purchase, but I REALLY miss drooling over her antiques/collections!

I love Martha Stewart, always have but her home looks so corporate now. I'm miss the days of antiques, junk finds and Turkey Hill with character. Still beautiful but not nearly as cozy and interesting. Just too "new rich" looking. She use to be all about the history and story. I miss that. I do like the silver trees.

Query:. I am recently diagnosed with end stage renal disease. A lot of delicious and healthy food is now off limits for me. SO TRUE! her original house, Turkey Hill was SO gorgeous, full of antiques, character and natural outdoor things she would use for natural displays. Her house now, this one here you are talking about, from the outside looks like some compound or something, so cold and lacking of any warmth. This decorating is, like you said, cold looking , ugh. The furniture looks like a cheap motel from the 1960's! :P! I only watch her EARLY shows from the late 80's to early 90's. The show she had on last year is ridiculous....Kimberly
