Hello, I recently moved from Japan to Troy, Ohio. I was looking for some mountain biking trails nearby. I will try to visit this place next time.

I have been at this park several times in the last 18 months are there are no one way signs. This video (two years old) shows trails were one way at some point but they have since removed that rule. Hawk Lair, in my opinion, is difficult to navigate due to poor signing. I’ve seen so many intersections that are not signed. I’m guessing it takes a few runs to learn where every trail goes at HL. I’ve tried following MTB Project but it didn’t help. The other trails are well marked and are looped except Voodoo. That’s an out and back. Great park!

Buddy has a specialized bike and I have a trek x caliber 4 with upgraded double wall rims. Stock ones didn't last very long. Might upgrade to another bike but idk what. I think if I upgrade the forks it will be fine. Can't wait for next year to try this trail out so thanks for the video

Alex! Hey little brother, I rode the trails today- so much fun! When I arrived i knew I had about 30 minutes till the rain hit so I took off like a banshee. I like dipping my shoulders to make it through the trees on twisty trails and hoping my bars aren't too wide- they weren't. Zigzag, Hawk's Lair and Creekside were all fun. After the rain started I rode another half hour and headed back to trailhead. I think I rode all but one trail so which was the most fun? Maybe Voodoo, but they were all fun. Thanks for posting the vid.
