Hi the oven does it get very hott? And could you please let me know what model it is please. Great video
@ChrissBeerReviews
@ChrissBeerReviews Жыл бұрын
The log burner/stove does get hot, it’s fantastic for those chilly evenings and mornings. It really doesn’t take long to heat up our 5m bell tent. The oven side is great for cooking, we put things in the oven and other things in pans on top. We have cooked some fantastic meals with it whilst staying lovely and warm. This came from outlander stoves on the bell tent boutique website. belltentboutique.co.uk/products/outbacker-fireboxrange-oven-stove

Weird question but what size utility trailer do you have? Trying to weigh up size for all the camping gear. Does it work well having a trailer?

I'm continually thinking of getting a 5m bell tent for the wife and I - I just love the look of the things - and it's always interesting seeing how others set them up. Few questions: What's the point of having the front awning? I like the idea of a small fridge when camping but they seem to use a lot of battery car (woke up to a dead battery once) and those more efficient those dometic ones are just too expensive for me - any advice? Do you have a camping gas stove too? In the summer I can't picture starting the oven for a cup of tea. Perhaps a YT review of the stove in future?
@ChrissBeerReviews
@ChrissBeerReviews 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike thanks for watching. I like the awning.because it adds another layer of privacy and it's good to store shoes and dry any clothing that gets wet when you go out. We usually only go to sites that have electric hook up, so the fridge we use is from Halfords and holds a good amount, out of season they normally cost about 100 pounds. Yes in the summer we have stoves and a BBQ. I am going to do a review of the stove this year. Bell tent camping is fantastic, they are straightforward to put up, there are KZbin videos of how to put up a 5m bell tent and it can be done by one person. With bell tents there is no condensation. Lots of space and headroom. There is certainly an art to putting it back in the back again! So always try and remember how it unfolds when it comes out of the bag! Thanks again for watching.

A Pecron solar generator with a coup solar panels would be perfect in stead of using extension cord you can recharge your laterns, phone,ect ect

Can I ask where the exterior lights are from that you have wrapped around the outside of the tent near the ground? Would be a massive help. For the life of me can’t find that even resemble this!… think I’m a bit thick.

How dark is it when you close the door etc? What is the diameter including the pegs?
@ChrissBeerReviews
@ChrissBeerReviews Жыл бұрын
The tent is 5metres wide, with the pegs you can go out to 6 metres total. But there are techniques to reducing the peg rope length. It is certainly dark inside during the night, it does a reasonable job of not letting a huge amount of light through considering the colour of the canvas.
