I attempted fishing several times as a child; I was not even rewarded with an old boot. I eventually realised that the fish shop was going to be my best option for a fish dinner. War shouldn't be a touchy subject if one is interested in it as a historical event. As philosopher George Santayana wrote, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it", as are those who refuse to learn from it.
