@@paytonstanley268 Many plant KZbinrs have spoken about this topic. I haven’t experienced it much personally but I’ve seen it in groups. Overall plant people are nice but there’s a negative side to the community like any other community.

i loved this video so much! only thing- you can’t premix water and hydrogen peroxide because of the chemical make up. when you mix H20 with H2O2 and let it sit the hydrogen peroxide breaks down into a even more diluted solution than you originally intended to which could make it ineffective for pests, infections, etc.

I totally understand why Alocasia Polly's can scare a lot of people off... that plant was staring me down whenever it was on screen. But aside from the Polly mean mugging me, it's nice to hear I'm not the only one who rehabs and refuses to give up on plants, sans that poor Peperomia S.M. (Kel absolutely FLATTENED that lil' plant's self esteem BeeTeaDub). I may not know why people grow attached to plants, but what I do know is that this overgrown and abandoned Aloe Vera Plant I found on the roadside will. not. die. on. me.

Ok this may be a dumb question, but wouldn’t you need the air to actually escape outside of the greenhouse (like an exhaust fan) rather than just circulating in it?

not a dumb question! circulating keeps the air moving to prevent mold and to keep humidity high! there is still air exchange since it’s not perfectly weather sealed. regarding my electricity bill, i haven’t noticed a difference! we fortunately have really cheap electricity in portland, so our total bill is usually $45.

I don't know how interested you'd be in this idea but redesigning football (soccer) jerseys would be a good idea. Each team has like 3 new ones per year. A lot of teams have specific motifs and histories that'd be interesting to reinterpret. The football audience would also eat up that content

you've maybe heard this but you mentioned Portland Nursery, and they were apparently not great to their employees during the early days of COVID, I've been trying not to support them ALSO I think you'd need to be careful with the cats because they're somewhat toxic but mosquito bits have been amazing for me with fungus gnats - I mix some into the soil when I repot anything and it helps get rid of the larvae before they hatch!!

You can also soak the bits in water and water your plants with them! They're not toxic, it's just a bacteria that kills larvae. Mixing them into soil totally works too but I've heard some people find that they can get moldy.
