most important thing of taking care of plants is to really get to know them! i just left a comment on somebody else's video saying that when i think of watering my plants it can make me anxious, cause i really have a lot. But when i do it it's makes me feel so relaxed. And also i think it makes your interior look way more nicer, so why not right hehe.. i think i still need to find better places for some plants in my house, but this is also a part of getting to know the plants better :)

This was really calm and informative at the same time!! Didn't feel like a lecture on how I would take care of my plants, so I feel so much positive vibes from this one~ safe to say that this could be my favorite planty video after watching so many on YT... love it so much! Keep doing what you do Audrie! ❤️

1. You can use water left over from boiling vegetables too. 2. When I start my seeds in the spring, I use my car as a mini greenhouse. You have to monitor the temp obviously, but it works. Only lost one flat when I forgot I put on the hood, and it was nighttime. Remember hearing a funny noise, remembered the next day. R.I.P. little seedlings.

EXACTLY! I started changing my normal routine and started following what a KZbinr was saying to do. I live in the UK and she doesn't so that was not a good idea. I don't have the heat and light that she does and what works for her did not work for me. Once you get more knowledge about plants...you learn what to do and what not to do for the plants and environment/climate they are in.

"I bought whatever looked pretty at the flea market" - that is so true! I don't even remember how many plants I got, because they were cute, but I had no Idea how to take care of them, or what their growth pattern was. Once I had a succulent that lost its bottom leaves and crawled out of the pot. I also got 2 small ferns, put them on window sill without even researching their needs - they were dead a couple of weeks later.

Love your plant collection, Audrie! 😍 They’re so healthy! I don’t know if you’ve heard of LECA or semi-hydroponics, but I’ve converted a handful of my plants from soil to LECA last year, and a lot of your propagated cuttings would do well in it if you ever decide to try. It took a little getting used to the system, but I love it because I saw a reduction in pests! I also find that Pothos, Philodendrons, and Monsteras love LECA.

5:32 For misting, I use an app to help guide me through. But I want to point out for Monstera... My misting caused small dark/burnt spots! I realized it was from the droplets acting as a magnifying glass for the light/heat from my growlight! So be careful

Hello Audrie! You have a lovely home and I love your plants. You are very lucky to have enough sunlight for yourself and for them. Honestly, I've tried plants similar to yours before but they kept on dying so I tried succulents and cacti. And recently one of my friends gifted me an air plant. I found your channel trying to figure out how to best care for my new baby plant. Any advice on caring for a small air plant? Thank you!

Ok......my question is gonna seem out in left field but hopefully you'll be able to save my plant... so I have a huge alocasia plant/ elephant ear... I was trying to put a metal loop rod support to hold it from leaning. Upon doings so on the under side of the big leaf where the leaf attaches to the stem two little veins ripped at the base of stem and leaf ripped. All I could think of doing was to putting a piece of tape on it , giving the leaf support and where the vein ripped to hold it in its original place, almost like a graft ! 99% of the leafs veins and leaf are intact, literally at the base of leaf where it has all the veins that run through the entire leaf the first two ripped! Any suggestions 🤔 nutrients I can give it to aid in recovery?

how much bigger should you go in pot size when repotting from a nursery pot? my monstera is still in its nursery pot and its doing great but I'm not sure what size pot I should get to repot. I'm scared because my friend repotted her monstera after a short while of it growing and now it's not doing well:(
