My mom used to have hella plants. Like out house was practically a jungle. My dad loved it bc when my mom was sick it gave her something to do bc she couldn’t work anymore. And every Friday when he got paid the first thing he did was buy her a new plant. She knew so much about them and every room had a different section. Everyday after school I would always go around the house and help her take care of them. When she was too sick to walk my oldest sister would take her around in the wheel chair and I would go back and forth filling up the watering jug. Then when she passed, no matter what we did the plants just kept dying. We had someone at a nursery tell us why they wouldn’t survive. And he had no idea he said it was almost like the plants were feeling grief as well. So slowly all the plants died and when we noticed that without all the plants the house looked empty. Couple weeks later we moved out the house and never really decided to plant again. Until recently for my moms 10th anniversary I decided to go out and buy a plant. And so far it’s doing okay. I’ve been keeping a close eye on it. I’m 18 now and the last time I really took care of a plant I was 8 so I don’t have much memory on what they need, I’ve been doing a lot of research so wish me luck.

I use this video to fall asleep almost every night. I find it so relaxing and it makes me fall asleep so fast bc of how calming it is. I have a hard time falling asleep unless I have white noise or videos like this since my adhd makes my brain not want to sleep. This video is amazing. I would be checked on and cared for daily, talked to in exclusively positive terms, given a sick meme name, and cheered on and loved for literally doing nothing but what I am designed to do by nature. The person caring for me would spend large amounts of time researching what I need to succeed and would spend a large amount of money giving it all to me. I would be surrounded by friends and family also being cared by this person. I would live in Southern California in a nice-ass house with a pool and where the backdoor is frequently left open letting in a nice breeze. This unironically sounds like paradise. And then Kermit would probably pee on me.

A couple months ago I had to move out of my apartment because I needed to leave a bad relationship. It was the type of move out where I basically took me, my cat, and some clothes and I left my snake plant behind along with most of my other things. Today I had to go clean the apartment because my ex trashed it before moving out and my name is still on the lease. And my snake plant somehow lived through about 2 months of not getting watered! Her name is Licorice and I feel so loved by this plant for waiting for me to save her. Such a bright spot in this bad situation. Just wanted to share

I watched jenna's videos ever since i was a lil 13 year old and i absolutely love her. Im now 22 years old and coming back to this video because i JUST got into being a plant mama, bought some cape rain daisies, some lil white daisies, 2 aloe veras (one with a flower growing so tall!!! Stands at almost 3 ft tall), a Ti Plant, and 2 sensevieria laurentii 😂 im soo excited about this and i feel so nostalgic watching jenna after all this time since her last upload.
