Hi Have a good day God bless you and your family My name is Rahees I am from India But at this time I am working in Saudi Arabia. In which I serve and look after a crazy person I really like living with a horse I have been horse riding and rearing horses for the last 11 years. I have some information related to the horse like taking care of the horse, taking care of the horse's health, keeping food, cleaning the horse's feet and nailing etc. And often I learn new things too I like horse riding very much But during Covid my horse died and my financial condition has also become very weak That's why I couldn't buy a horse again and I had to do a job But I still love horses a lot. and I want to do such a job in which I can work for both humans and horses And may my desire also be fulfilled simultaneously I saw you that you are very great and kind in this field and you love horses and nature a lot and you are also very close to nature And you are working with dignity and diligence in this area I have great hope from you that maybe you would help me Can you give me a job in your form I am also know about of farming I have graduated in the field of commerce and medicine. Wherever I live, I work with honesty and hard work most people are happy and love with me I often try to ensure that no living being has any complaint against me. I hope you won't disappoint me Can you help us with this If yes then even, if no then. May God give you and your family lots of happiness and good health and more success Thanks so much indeed.

Nice very informative video Emily... I have spent time on a large family farm operation near Warsaw, Ohio that was dairy focused and it was very similar except they milked around 100 cows daily... It was an almost fully automated system, and it was so cool... I loved my time spent there, cutting, thrashing, bailing hay, blowing wheat into silos, we hauled corn to the mill, burlap bagged the ground corn from the chute tied with twine and loaded back into the truck... Everything on this farm chickens, hogs, beef cattle, garden vegetables, dairy products milk, butter, cream, was all used there fresh... We had hand churned butter, homemade pies, bacon, ham, eggs, homemade jams, homemade bread, everything was so awesome... I miss it now after watching your video, really good memories and a fantastic work out everyday... When the sun went down and you had a shower you were ready for bed... Again Thanks Emily, I am sub'd and love all of the content... From Southwest, Ohio...😇

I really enjoy these types of videos Emily, as it's not only entertaining but extremely informative as it relates to food quality. Something I think is missed by those who create farming videos. As I'm sure you know there is a huge difference in quality and health benefit between large food production operations and local farmers.

At time stamp 5:09 and 8:46 you show the type of dry feed you give the animals. I am wondering, why do you feed them whole kernel corn and not crushed. I thought that crushed will digest much better that whole feed. I am not a farmer just wondering.
@NewAgeCustomFarmingАй бұрын
Yes they can digest crushed or cracked corn better, this stuff is cracked enough for them to digest (we don’t see it out the other end)

Are there models of the feeders that are capable of feeding whole milk instead of powder? It seems that those models would need to have a much greater reservoir.
@NewAgeCustomFarming2 ай бұрын
Not that I know of, there are milk taxis that you can put real milk into and feed calves in hutches with though. We also don’t have any milk on our farm so it wouldn’t work for us
@r.scotthill30822 ай бұрын
@@NewAgeCustomFarming Have you seen that system that hangs from a rail and moves a single nipple along feeding a row of calves in single pens. It seems to get its water from an uncurling hose from some remote location. So it appears that milk could be delivered from a pasteurizer and records kept of each calves consumption. The best part would be that each calf would be offered milk on a set schedule and that would be much better for their digestion and growth. This would hold true for either powder or milk.
