As just a baby system that's trying to learn to walk, this video and all the books/resources you mentioned is extremely helpful! If ever you decide to "clear out" some of your book stash, please let me know! I find it foolish for us to buy new books even when local libraries don't have the books we're looking for. I'd much rather keep already-printed books in circulation. Much love to all of you

Thanks for sharing your collection. I know some of these I will need to find. First Person Plural is by far the best memoir I have read BTW.

Glad to see this video, a few of us were interested in reading some books on plurality so glad we have some stuff to choose from now! The webcam quality was pretty good! Didn't even know you were using a webcam until you mentioned it!

!!! Oh my god I love "Love Me Whole", it's honestly the best piece of PluralLit fiction that we're read so far. I've become really taken with fiction books about systems and have read a few now, and wow... most of them are Bad. And it feels like a lot of them are bad in different, exciting ways that I have a lot to say about and will hopefully get around to speaking on someday. If you have any recommendations for PluralLit fiction books than we would love to hear about it, we're always looking for more! I just finished "Pieces of Me" and the "Girl from the Treehouse" (not sure that I'll read the second one) and can't decide between "Set This House in Order" and "Freshwater" for my next big one.

Oh I was so hoping there'd be some LB Lee on here!!! Didn't know you were IRL friends! I love their blog, and I've kinda converted an entire social services organization in my hometown to be plural friendly with mostly your videos and their blog. Think one of the therapists is buying all their works now. It's not specifically plural/DID focused, but The Hybrid Chronicles by Kat Zhang is an amazing YA series that I LOVE. It's an alternate reality where every body is born with two souls and given two names, and by early childhood, usually one soul fades away. It follows two teens, Addie and Eva, who share a body and neither faded away. It's such a powerful series that's been a good tool to explain switching and the bond that can develop between system members and systems. I will give it a strong medical/ institutionalization trigger warning though, it's very hard for us to read sometimes because so much of it is a medical system trying to force one soul to fade by some pretty horrific means

Hello Alexandrite System, we wrote a longer comment before but it got deleted somehow, so we want to keep it short: we found the book "Divided Consciousness: Multiple Controls in Human Thought and Action (Wiley series in behaviour)" by Ernest R. Hilgard, 1977 as one of the older books that seems to describe partially plural states of mind/body (like medianness or coconscious systems), although with today sometimes strange language. We wanted to know if you/s know anything (good or bad) to say about Hilgard (because academic reports are not that reliable if they just repeat/copy each other). Hypatia of Sva
