Join historian Ken Spiro to learn about the Jerusalem seam line otherwise known as the ceasefire line or armistice line between Israel and Jordan from 1948 - 1967. In addition, we will touch upon the history of Jerusalem from the time of Abraham to the present, visit a kibbutz, the old city of Jerusalem, Ammunition Hill, and the first neighborhood built beyond the old city walls, Mishkenot Sha'anim and its windmill as well as Yemin Moshe.

The battle for Ammunition Hill is controversial. Many asked why artillery and aircraft were not deployed first, to make it easier for the paratroopers.
