Can’t wait to see the Leicester Vintage Toy store episode! Wish they’d actually show more of the products in store, right now toy collector retailers need exposure of their stock more now than ever.

They have been! They're open Wednesday through Sunday, but are also setting up personal browsing sessions on the days they're closed, if someone needs to do that. They're also, for now, having customers wear masks and disinfect with hand sanitizer. Masks are available to purchase there, if you don't have one, and the sanitizer, like the fangs, is always free.

there's a place in mullins, SC called Jim's Hobbies that is nothing short of amazing... sadly, there's not a large collector community there, so it goes unknown for the most part.

Much better than episode one a little more focused on toys. It’s getting slightly better. More about toys! Less covid. We have the news for that. That said. These people and store owners are beautiful examples of human beings.

I agree!! Less talk about Covid 19. More talk about toys! :)

Dragun is the BEST Shogun Warrior btw...Godzilla was just a gimmick!!! Haha Shogun Warriors were actually before my time being born in '81 but I still had one and only learned about what it actually was YEARS later thanks to the internet. For the guy not seeing his kid....thankfully I have a daughter because I couldn't imagine having a son and not living in the custodial home though I don't suppose it was any easier with a girl...it just meant that I bought and played with and collected girls toys for 10, ok, ok...13ish years BUT that's only because I clung to Monster High and the like really years after she was ready to give it up...but, as the father of a 17 year old it gets easier annnnnd then it gets harder!!! Meaning that you'll work out a schedule and grow accustomed to it but then your son will become a teenager that knows everything and thinks you're the lamest person ever!!! You'll obviously love him all the same as I still love my daughter and would lay down my life for her without blinking...anyway, you'll spoil him rotten I'm sure...partly out of guilt over simply being a parent, no, over simply being a Dad, a Dad who's not with his mother and partly over how it makes you feel...it's been over 10 years ago but when the Original Monster High started my daughter liked it but she liked 100 other things but then she got a lot of Monster High for her B-Day that year and I saw that she really liked it and a few days later grocery shopping I saw a new one at Kroger of all places and I'll never forget her reaction....screaming, jumping up and down and going nuts and nearly bowling me over with hugs...and there's nothing wrong with that! Oh and for the record I absolutely loved playing Monster High btw...we had a display that took up my entire basement and put the toy catalogs to shame and so I spent countless hours playing Monster Prom/School Takeovers and any number of 'stories'...Enjoy being a Dad bro...and remember not to be too hard on yourself.

The owners seem like good guys, but the concept of the whole show is just wrong. What's next - toy stores during a hurricane?
@masterchief247 Жыл бұрын
WTF?? Shows not even about toys. Its about the people's lives. Who gives a crap about that Lol. Bait and switch
@choppert64 жыл бұрын
Just like the first episode, way too much talking about COVID 19 and not enough Toys 🙄
@clampowder90614 жыл бұрын
The series is about toy stores right now. The COVID pandemic is inextricably linked to the lifeline of any toy store these days, one cannot simply tell a real-time story about a family owned, “non-essential”, business in a vacuum without the context of coronavirus. A show just about toys would be awesome(in fact they’ve already produced a show like that) but that just isn’t the aim of this show.
