I was on a trip to Guruvayur back in 2015, after darshan I ate traditional sadhaya. They happen to serve Ash-gourd curry that day. 2-3 days prior to that trip my Doc told me to avoid bot Ash-gourd and milk for few weeks, that curry was so damn good I ate belly full and drank Pal-payasam big jar(temple prasadam). My face turned red and looked bruised for a week but I never regretted doing it.

The way u put the banana leaf (direction) to the placement of each dish in that leaf has a theory.... The dishes included has a particular reason, the combination of the selection of dishes has a scientific ideology, sadhya is food but a medicine which has a perfect combination of sweet, spice, tanginess and all... There is a dish called olan in it... Which is used as a neutraliser... Which it's own can't be had as a curry but it's significance is to after eating rice scoop with one dish have a touch of olan so u can enjoy the next scoop of ur rice with another dish but by eliminating the taste of previous dish to enjoy this scoop perfectly.... And lately when u finish the way u fold ur banana too has a saying
