The Antichrist will be a political leader from Europe. His false prophet will be the Pope in Rome. Antichrist will be revealed when the abomination of desolation occurs as prophecied by Daniel the prophet. This is when Antichrist will sit in the Jewish Temple, and will claim to be God, and will stand as God.

There is no true way to know if he will be a political leader, or a great industrial/ technological CEO, or perhaps something else entirely. Worrying about who he is, when he comes, etc., is fruitless. For he is coming, and we need his coming to sanctify the world. Just as Jesus needed Judas, we need the antichrist. All we need to do is stay faithful, say our prayers dutifully, and pray that we will be given the opportunity of the Apostles, who all gladly accepted martyrdom. For Christ's Good News could never have spread so far and fast had not his 12 apostles chosen to die as he did. It has always been the passive sacrifice and martyrdom of the faithful that converted souls en-masse. Surely Christian armies and swords toppled hostile regimes, but it was selfless sacrifice of everyday faithful that converted souls. And so it will be with the antichrist. Those martyred in the present and future, especially with the power of ever-present media, will lead tens or hundreds of thousands of souls upon the road of conversion. The sacrifices of the faithful will save the living souls of millions over time.

I do not think pointing fingers at people who may have been unintentionally used by the forces laying the foundation for the antichrist will be of any use. We are all human, are prone to error and deserving of forgiveness (though I do not concede that Pope John Paul II was even such a person as was alleged). Our job is to to pray and provide filial correction to those in error. Railing at the dead is useless. Correcting any errors and their subsequent consequences they may have made is all we can do today. You will have more traction being for a positive force than trying to simply campaign against something else and convincing others it is negative. Be the positive force, and let others flail and founder trying to counter YOU.

​@@marcladuke6302 There are many reasons. A simple reason to refute it is the disobedience of the children toward their parents to see the apparition. There is no excuse for that. Saint Bernadette had permission from her mother at Lourdes. Lucia's mother did not want her daughter to go there. She disobeyed. And everybody overlooks that like it is some kind of virtue. There are new teachings that come out of Fatima and the apparition attracts attention to itself as if it were lacking in humility. There are symbolic type warnings that come with it as well. . . like the fly buzzing sound people heard during the apparitions and the lightning they saw just before the apparition began. Remember what Jesus said to His disciples: "I saw Satan, like lightning, falling from Heaven." (Luke 10, 18). That just touches the surface of it.

Satan starting winning the moment he changed Genesis 3:15 to say "she" instead of "he," and convinced the church that he was Mary and that "she" wanted Catholics to venerate (worship) "her" on the 13th of each month and on first and fifth Fridays. The pagan emperor Constantine and his heathen priests hijacked and plagiarized the Gospel, breaking it up into many scrambled up and somewhat contradictory books, falsely ascribed authors, plus making up the Gnosticism cover story. AND FURTHERMORE You all do not pay attention to what it says in book of ACTS. Fore one thing it says that all the apostles were of 'one accord', But Paul fought with John. Paul himself admits the Apostles never believed his being met by Jesus spirit and subsequent conversion, a story he told 3 times in Acts, differently and contradicting each time. Acts 22: 18 Paul speaking- "And saw him[holy spirit (?)] saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they[the apostles] will not receive thy testimony concerning me." If Peter with the 'holy spirit' did not believe Paul why should we? (Any Epistle contradicting Acts is counterfeit) Further Jesus told you "you can tell the tree by it's fruit". Well after Paul was supposedly preaching on Jesus and his Gospel those students got it in their minds to claim Paul was a pagan god and proceeded to set up an alter to him for the sacrificing of animals. THAT doesn't sound like the 'fruits' of teaching Jesus doctrine to me. There is plenty of evidence in Acts that shows Paul was a lying thieving murdering Roman agent provocateur who took on a new tactic to run ahead of the apostles to preach a corruption/confusion of Jesus' doctrine. At one point Paul arrogantly argued with the Grecians, who's appointed evangelist, Stephan, Paul was involved in killing. Because of this the apostles were fed up with Paul and set him up to be a pariah of the temple, leading Paul to be taken into protective custody, living in a royal palace till sent to Rome where he lived out the rest of his days in peace and comfort on his Roman agent's PENSION where NO JEWS WERE ALLOWED TO LIVE.
