If not then it's still fine, no big deal for me.

@joshuatmgg1983 I think those, for want of a better phrase, 'unredeemed acts' will be the reason he doesn't get a happy ending. I can't see a world in which Homelander can allow a key member of The Seven to challenge him like this without killing them. Maybe it happens at the end of tomorrow's episode, perhaps even in public to drastically raise the stakes for the next season. Either way, I don't see him running off into the sunset, but I think that serves the character better and is probably what A-Train himself would want, or at least be at peace with now.

Now they'll be looking to please whoever they believe is the strongest, winnning side and the side that can give them back all that they lost. Which is Vought, Homelander. Since Atrain got his speed back, and actually isn't desperate for Homelander's approval, he's thinking clearly and wants to do right by those around him. He at least regained a part of what he lost and realizes it isn't all that he wanted. That is the chance to recruit an ally to your side.

Remember in early seasons when supes actually patrolled neighbourhoods and public opinion was the #1 metric for Vaught's value? Now in season 4 we're told to believe that supes don't even do a single legit save their entire careers and we never hear about their approval ratings. It just feels like a completely different show

I believe that's because public perception (in the Boys universe) changed towards supes after it was revealed superheroes are not born, but rather injected with compound V. I don't really recall the details, but I do remember it being a big plot point, and altering how people perceived supes. I think that was the main reason they slacked off on their super hero persona. I could totally be wrong, however😅

I like that Maeve was far more compassionate in this series. Everyone has some redeeming qualities here or some motivation that might be gross but makes sense. In the comic is was so hard because everyone’s a degenerate who just likes being a degenerate for the degeneracy

I guess they kind of established his resistance for season 4. It just bugs me how many heroes/villains are now bullet proof. (Yes, Annie tanks 2 sniper shots to the chest in season 1) Idk, just makes the whole "How do we deal with Translucent?" Feel like a different show almost.
