Great you have found a place to live! Sometimes the way forward includes a little (or a not so little) way backwards. You are young and have one another, this is all you need. Even if after a while you feel Denver is not for you, don't be scared, just move and even don't be afraid to never settle. Settling down is more something society pushes one to but human nature is a moving and a dynamic one. So: keep going since the meaning of life is just life itself! Eagerly waiting for next part!

So glad you two decided against LA. I know you two have a spiritual side. So I wanted to mention a place near Colorado Springs called Garden of the Gods. Think it's a couple hours South of Denver. If you go there, try to be there around sunset. The favorite pastime there is lounging on top of a giant boulder.

I felt all the while, even when you announced that your plans were to move to L.A., that Colorado would be best for you guys. Check out Rocky Mountain National Park when you get a chance, it's beautiful (and there are animals everywhere!!!!)

Was leaving LA the right decision? Absofuckinlutely! Colorado is amazing; the people are much nicer than phony LA people; and there are tons of MJ dispensaries, as well as endless opportunities for employment.
