Totally understand what you meant. When I visited I felt very uncomfortable being gay and Native American. But it all melted away when I visited the sacred sites like medicine wheel. I nearly cry every time I think about it as it has a big impact and such heighten emotions. Something very special and soothing about those places.

1) When you showed a shot of you listening to You + Me I screamed out YAAAASSS 2) Do people "couch surf" in the US? Whenever I travel, I tend to use couch surf to save money on places to sleep + meet really awesome locals. When you meet people in the service industry of the towns and cities you visit, they don't always give the best representation of that area/city/state/etc.
