I never knew what the phrase “kicking against the goads” meant. Now I do! And not only that but I realize that in my struggles to eat right (trying to right my life-long struggle with food/weight), when I falter and don’t follow Him, I am kicking against the goads! I am simply inflicting more pain upon myself! May this become a “Damascus Road” experience in this struggle! Thank for teaching the Word, the whole Word, and nothing but the Word, pure and simple, so that we may apply it to our everyday lives and become a brighter beacon for our Lord!

I too was an "anti Christian". Few to many things kept happening that I could no longer explain as "coincidence". Went to church to see if I could get answers. I felt the hand of God on my shoulder. He saved me that day.

Yes, totally agree. I"m also in UK and listen to Gary Hamrick almost every day (past sermons) and find his teaching so rich. I understand he'll be teaching in Oxford on 29June 2024 @ Calvary Chapel. So wish I could attend, but already have a church commitment. I hope he'll visit UK again. Thank you Lord Jesus for his wonderful ministry.

Yes Pastor Gary, I am a woman now mature but than in 2004 was younger and involved heavly in a relationship, as most women do ,I was madly in love with him, then found out he was cheating on me, but than had to prove it. I did, caught them red handed and from than on, Instead of leaving him and going on my own journey , I decided to end it all, by planning , getting a gun and how to shoot him, his woman friend and myself. Then on the day that I was really planning to do that, hey presto!! Jesus used one of His angles to evangelise to me and the rest is history. Obviously there are lots of details in between but am saved and married to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. At total peace and willing to die for His cause as I was gonna die for a man , a cheater and a deceiver, how much more should I lay my life for Jesus. By the way, I was a idol serving Hindu but now know the truth and it has set me totally free. I am not religious but a follower of Christ

Paul's Hebrew name is Saul...and later was changed to Paul because the word Saul for the Greeks meant arrogant according to Pastor Biltz...As Paul was the apostle assigned to preached the Word to the Gentiles (Romans 11:13) and Peter was assigned to preach to the Jews..
