Preparation is the key to any body work, skip it now and it will show up later. You do excellent work, thank you.

You mentioned your aluminum shop. Do you have separate areas for aluminum and steel? If so, why? BTW I enjoy your videos.

u need a “dedicated” area in order for the shop to charge aluminum rates for the repair. (i believe so… someone correct if wrong)

Thank you and yes we do. You can’t mix aluminum and steel because it can cause cross contamination. Steel dust getting into bare aluminum or vice versa

@@BlueCollarKyle Thanks. I thought that may be the reason from a welding perspective.

Nice vid, Kyle. I was wondering if you knew of any more info regarding the glass guys only wanting to put the urethane over epoxy primer, and not paint/clear? Is it because they're not confident in the layer adhesion between the paint and clear to the primer? Is it always that way in your experience, or have you seen manufacturers that will put the window urethane over the factory clear coat?

I’ve seen it over top clear coat many times but it’s best to put on top epoxy. I’ve seen the urethane peel right off clearcoat before

@@BlueCollarKyle thanks for your response. I’ve had that same experience but thought it was something I did wrong. 👍
