The thing is you CAN prepare the house let the loved ones at home examine things for you take pictures, you can’t change ANYTHING even if you do go back! What you can do is show your children that when your foundation is strong with support from loved ones that you all have each others backs! Enjoy the time you have now with the kids and each other ! Everything is always ok ! Of course you must always do what YOU feel is the highest and best fit for you and the family! ❤ Y’All are always the most important!🎉

I can't even imagine. Especially after the floods. That wind gets a wippin and it's so easy for trees to get toppled over at the root. It doesn't look too extensive from the pics and video. Positive vibes are coming your way.

Steph, you and Buddy are so loving and giving with helping in every situation, everyone wants to help you both.❤ I think I would head home if not but a day earlier anyway just to be prepared with buying groceries on the way home and filling up the vehicles with gas. But most importantly the house, groceries, and YOUR PEACE OF MIND! Buddy may want to install cameras inside the house just for these special purposes to see what you can’t. Its a lot to deal with and then you have the babies and you don't want to scare or stress them. Try and hold tight till Lester and Jamie can look at it. We got a huge maple tree laid over on the house here last year when a derecho passed through, one of five trees that went down on the property plus one on the garage of the house next door. So I sympathize intensely. The tree here poked three holes in the roof but smashed in tightly enough it didn't leak much. Still working on repairs but at least the roof is fixed now : ). Everyone needs a hobby but I would never have chosen storm damage for mine.

I'm praying that God chose to turn the tree flat to the roof with no branches to puncture it! But you are so blessed to have a family full of skilled and experienced people that might just have everything needed to lift the tree off in a controlled manner. but are also wise enough to know if it's beyond their skill sets!
