Wow, Monica, you're collection never ceases to amaze me! I love the hand- drawn lobby posters; they're so artistic. It's hard to believe some of these films are nearly 100 years old.

It's so sad. Most of the silent movies seemd to be lost at all. But luckywhise you gave us this Picture Doku to understand a little more wich great Actor Conrad Veidt was. Thank you! I got a Pictur of "Die Prostitution" in my collection. Should i post it to you? Let me know.

I am literally in love with Conrad veidt. as an actor he is superlative. Conrad was the original Joker in the original silent Batman series dating back to 1909 1914, and were 9 Minute shorts. the dr. in the movie The Cabinet of dr. Caligari played the Mad Hatter. I mistook this for part two, as the background music for part 2, is a Brahms Rhapsody. Is really great to have a Veidt enthusiast uploading an history of Veidts' career and personal life as well. Thank you!

What are you talking about? Batman/the Joker wasn't created until the 1930s, in the USA.

Very very nice to see this!! grat photos and posters!! Its sad to know all of these films are lost, I would LOVE to see all of them!! and there are more lost fimls with no pictures, isnt it?? I would love to see others like "Nocturno der Liebe " Im sure it was an excellent movie... and Connie looks so so handsome in all the photos *^*!! Personally I prefer him without mustache and beard... But He looks very handsome here too n.n
