What an amazing actor he was. Even sitting on the couch and delivering his lines, he was awesome. I remember watching him with my grandmother when he was on Search for Tomorrow. He was mean and hilarious at the same time and never failed to speak his mind and give his opinion to people right to their face. May he rest in peace.

When I started dating my wife 30 years ago, she was hooked on this show (still is). I used to tape this show for her on my vcr because she worked during the day and couldn't watch it. I'd come over her place and bring dinner and she'd watch it. She'd ask me to watch it with her and I was like "yeah right ". After a while I started to really get into the story. Stefano always kidnapping Marlena, John Black always trying to remember who he was, and Victor always running everything! Thirty years later and me and my wife still watch this show together. Sadly, alot of the Main Characters are no longer with us. Micky, Stephano, Tom, just to name a few. But Victor was always my favorite. His quick one line zingers always got me laughing. He's the kinda guy I wanna be like when I reach that age. He always cared about family on the show and in real life. It's gonna be hard watching the show without Victor. Just like it was when Stefano passed away. I'll always remember "Dam that John Black!" RIP John Aniston, you were a man among men!!! 😔💔🙏

Honestly though I stopped watching after the great Joe Mascolo died. Now I know for sure I'll never watch it ever again because John and Joe were the only reason I'd watched in recent years. Both very good actors and nice men in real life. It will never be the same without them. My heart and condolences go out to John's wife, son and of course to Jennifer.
