A Tribute to Mattie Scales, Rafee, Headford, Co.Galway

Some memories from the life of the late Mattie Scales (1944 - 2021)
This short video contains just some of Mattie’s passions including singing, photography, and his numerous social outings with his wide circle of neighbours and friends.
Regrettably, like many others in these difficult times, Mattie did not get the send-off he deserved.
Also included in this video is footage from his funeral cortège making its journey through Headford via Cloughanover and Rafee, before Mattie was laid to rest in Cummer Cemetery.
Thanks to Mattie’s many friends and neighbours who contributed images and video clips towards the making of this tribute.
