A video tribute to former Villa manager, Ron Saunders, who has sadly passed away at the age of 87.
During his spell in charge, Saunders guided Villa to promotion, two League Cups and a league championship in 1980/81.

One privilege of being an 'old git' now. I watched that era from the age of 13 when he took over '74, and clearly remember the atmosphere at Villa park as we steam rolled most teams that turned up. Happy days as a youngster watching what turned out to be legendary players: Aitken, Graydon, Little, Nichol, Gray, Mortimer, Shaw, Withe, Morley - to name but a few. UTV!
