Another example, but using a directional input instead of another button, is getting a sidestep jab with characters that have a SS+1, like Bryan. Since he has no f+1 command, you just do f+1 out of a sidestep to get a jab. This is obviously useful in the neutral, but can also be used to realign in some combos.

It's not quite the same, but as a pad player I use button bind 3+4, accompanied with either 1 or 2 to get both of King's crouch dash throw options to come out. Since there is no crouch dash 3+4 for king, and hitting either 1+4 or 2+3 on a pad if you're not using claw style is difficult, this lets you get both of those options by still using just your thumb and a button bind. So, crouch dash 1+3+4 or crouch dash 2+3+4. I should just learn claw, but it's a work around.

How so? If you get standing 3+4 instead of b+3+4 that means you hit the 3+4 too early, in which case if you only used the b+3 method, you would have hit the 3 earlier than the back input. And hitting the 3 earlier just means you get running slash kick anyways.

I probably won't. If you need help executing the hardest combos chances are you aren't ready for them yet. I think the players who can figure it out are generally the ones who have a handle on the character and are ready for them. I really don't mean to be insulting, it's just how I feel about it. I find that the hard combos for the most part are pretty self explanatory once you figure out the character. There are no other "tricks" to Bryan besides the b+3+4 to land the b+3 from a run. With this information you should be well on your way to figuring out the hard stuff.

Screwing up combos I've done, literally, thousands of times is something that genuinely pisses me off, mainly because there's no one to blame but myself if there isn't a lot of lag. I don't think any of the characters, or at least the combos I use with them, have an issue where a command kill would be necessary, but I have problems getting certain moves to come out. For example, I cannot get Josie's uf-3+4 to come out on demand when I'm just standing there, but if it's in a juggle I can get a lot of the time. I still can't do Kazumi's back-to-forward move twice in an actual juggle.

Well I do buffering for king...but don't think its a command kill. Just when the screw is hitting I keep pressing 4 and then dash and also input 2 to get a shining wizard. I play on pad so sometimes I wouldn't press both buttons on same frame with my thumb and would get a 1 jab or a standing 4. This way, shining wizard never misses. We can also do command kill for Geese's ss3 if we want to do standing 3,3 string from side step. Don't know any more.

Can Feng can do f+3 like that you explain in this video
@PeterYMao4 жыл бұрын
No. Feng can not do f+3 with this method because 1) f+3+4 = Shifting Cloud Stance 2) f+1+3+4 = Taunt 3) f+2+3+4 = Throw 4) f+1+2+3 = Throw Those are all the possibilities. Also what combo are you using f+3 that you need to dash for? Feng's combos don't require you to dash into f+3,4 because they are structured where the screw happens as the 2nd hit usually or the 4th hit. example. u/f+4 -> f+1+2 (S!) -> SSR -> f+3,4 etc... because this screw comes early you don't need to dash into it really.

I just started playing Tekken 7 yesterday and this is my first Tekken game ever. I started with Bryan fury and while executing his 10 hit combo, I know all the buttons and I press them in the right order too, but the guy just stops after 4-7 hits. Refuses to hit any more even though the button presses were correct and in the right order. What to do? Is this a timing issue?

You mean b+2,1,4? And do you mean b+3~f+2,1? Without you being specific about this question I have no idea what you are having trouble with. Please be specific.

This is still not specific. What are you having trouble with? What part of this combo? You say you miss b+3~f+2,1. Are you missing the b+3? Are you missing the f+2? Are you missing the 1? Again... please be specific. I have no idea what is preventing you from doing this combo.

the b+3~f2 connects but the last f1 wiffs
@PeterYMao4 жыл бұрын
Tariq Shah dash / run in deeper before pressing b+3+4. And then delay the 2,1 as much as possible. So b+3+4~forward (wait) 2,1. Hope that works for you. It’s mostly just practice until you get the timing down

Hwo can buffer RFF with 3 held down and running in and pressing 4 to switch into RFF. Miguel I don't know you tell me, lol.
@massy-39614 жыл бұрын
@@PeterYMao I know the RFF trick, I mean like a run in LFF [3~4] after the screw, theres no way to null that? I use the RFF trick after JSFR, backlash to get a RFF f3. Miguel can get a db2 into ff2,1 after certain screws but it's tough execution wise. Thanks anyways. In case you didnt know, Hwo can get instant WR! moves at 0 distance in RFF with a triple forward input. One piece of knowledge for another🎉

Hello , I like your bryan videos)) I training to play on Bryan cuz he is bad boy )) . I don't understand 1 thing : why peoples on tournaments don't pickup this good character?
@EmanueleCappello4 жыл бұрын
Because it's very tiring. He has good moves, but requires an amount of focus that is higher than those required for other characters such as DJin, Fahk, Leroy and the other S tier picks. But he's an amazing character, my main since forever (I used to play T3 at my cousin's, then T5 and T6 at a friend's) and he will always be the one I have the most fun playing.
@zThe_Questionz4 жыл бұрын
Emanuele Cappello like you said very draining on you and on your hands 😫
@PeterYMao4 жыл бұрын
Bryan has lackluster pokes. Great keep out, but if he is not winning the round or ahead it's hard for him to make a comeback against an opponent who knows not to press too many buttons and get counter hit. He's not exactly the easiest character with execution either.
@PeterYMao4 жыл бұрын
@@EmanueleCappello You 100% right. When there's characters with better stuff, the question for the pros in tournaments is why should I play Bryan? Thanks for the answer man.
