Awesome video. I am thinking that honey bee is from a wild colony inside a tree cavity. Woods and forests are the best places for wild bees. They survive with out any treatements. I subbed to your channel after watching this video.

Thanks a mill for the lovely comment and the sub. I agree they are most likely wild. Lately I have found a few wild hives in trees hollows (or bird boxes). It’s good to see them recovering. I was concerned there for a few years as I remember seeing many more honey bees as a child… They are fascinating creatures. I saw a bee keeper collecting a swarm in a garden centre recently - amazing stuff!

Wow! What a stunning video. There's certainly nothing "amateur" about your film making J. The beautiful music and those incredible shots are truly wonderful. I was finishing a shift and daydreaming about a slow forest walk when your video popped up and what a tonic for a hectic week. As twee and as cheesy as it sounds I always equate "forest" with "for rest" and you've certainly captured that! (although I wasn't aware dinosaurs still roamed and attacked their mothers' noses in Caponellan!) I hope you're feeling better than you have been of late too. Belated happy birthday to Vanessa.

Thanks Hugo. Glad you like it and i have to admit i liked it myself… I think i just about captured the forest itself. A lovely, peaceful place - great for-a-rest! 😉 Yep, Garrett is funny and he’s mad about dinosaurs - the house is full of them! Sharp and pointy when walked on! I’m coming round. Wasn’t feeling great in the woods actually and Monday was the first day I felt okay. Getting there. Thanks again and I’ll be sure to pass on the message to V as she doesn’t read these comments. Lovely footage and beautiful sounds. If ye ever back that direction again ye should definitely try the bog walk in Abbeyleix. Lovely spot.

Thanks Will for the suggestion and comment. We act did go there and it was lovely. Garrett was erm, quite challenging that day hence no video! 🤦 We’re going to revisit it during the summer…
