These videos are amazing. You are a genius Tim. As an old time fan right from the beginning, it's amazing to have some time free and immerse myself into the world of AWP. The series made a huge impact on my life, and its amazing to see the places where it was made, and reminisce about times long gone. Also, you really should be on TV as a documentary presenter, you are so....just have the right balance between humour and seriousness!!

Not sure if you ever confirmed this either way, but the hotel conference scene definitely looks studio looking at the lighting. When Barry approaches the lady serving the tea/coffee, you can see a bit where there is no ceiling in similar fashion to when Wayne brings the drinks in the Barley Mow.

Hello 'twist3r' .. yes, it was confirmed WAY after i filmed this.. the outer was used (obviously) and also the lobby where we see Barry rush in, and head to the lifts.. lifts were real location as he gets in, not 100% sure if the inner lift shot was studio, but the main conference was a set, in fact Deborah Kerby allowed me to have a copy of the plans, and it was loosely based off the bigger room we see in this video, more so the 'curtained off' windows.. and small similarities in the overall layout.. But yes.. your assumptions are spot on, and Wayne's drinks too, yes.. exactly the same.. also the angle we see Wayne and Oz and Bomber and Moxey is physically impossible to get at the real pub.. as the camera would have had to be IN the wall.. they used a 'Floater' set.. where major pieces of the walls were literally hanging! And ready for slow movement for angles at certain times.. All good stuff.

Wow thanks for confirming! Interesting stuff! How about Moxey doing his runner at the end of “A law for the rich” when he goes out the door? That looks like the actual pub to me looking at the lighting.

I'm in agreement with you there, as the lighting is off compared to studio, plus we did see him bolt out the door the other side into the car park, so i'd like to believe it was all on location for that part.. just edited from studio to location maybe.. beauty of editing..

Are you still sure that the Oz bringing the plates scene was filmed in the bar, and not a studio shot? (The suntan on Barry didn't look natural, as being part of the Spain filming)

That location is actually not fully known, its suspected as a location shot due to the lighting, but no bar or pub known in Beeston ever had those columns.. its still unknown' to this day..
