Great video Tim, good to have some memories from the people involved. Nottingham University also runs the Queens Medical Centre, and they charge all their staff to park too. Whether you’re medical or admin everyone pays to park.

Hi what a fantastic video. Thank you. I had no idea that part of Auf Wiedersehe Pet was filmed right on my doorstep as last night at our Bottesford W.I meeting was talking about us, going for a walk to Redmile and having lunch at the Windmill pub and then one person said, remember when they were filming Auf Wiedersehe Pet there and me and my mum were like what didn’t know that. Even though Redmile it’s right on my doorstep, I’ve never actually been in the pub because there’s so many to choose from around this area. I then decided last night after the meeting to go on KZbin to see if someone has done a video about the locations of my favourite program and that’s how I found you an your videos. The police station in Bottesford close down, as you said in this video. It was turned into 4 flats as the belvoir estate bought the building. I had no idea that I was living in the police station that was used in this program. I have to tell you though, I no longer live there as it’s suffered so much with mould and damp and they weren’t very good flats but I still live in Bottesford. .
