A Trip To Universal Islands Of Adventure! | Park Update, New Merch & The Hot Dog Hall Of Fame!

In today's vlog we head to Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure! It's been a while since we've been to this park so it great to be back and see what was new since our last trip. We got to see some new mech, new HHN merch and new (to us) Mardi Gras merch. Then we also got to stroll around the park for a bit and do a quick park update. We tried to do the Velocicoaster control room tour, but it was just too busy on this day, so we'll be back to try again for sure. Then we head out into Citywalk and have a bratwurst at the Hot Dog Hall of Fame and a doughnut at Voodoo Doughnuts. We check out some of the new props at the Legacy Store and other merch at the Universal Studios Store before heading out for the day. The Wellington Burger probably got it's name from the character; Wimpy's full name is J. Wellington Wimpy. (Popeye was one of my favorite cartoon characters growing up, which might explain why I remembered this bit of trivia.)

I can tell Tim rarely goes to Universal when he doesn't know that Wimpy's hasn't been seasonal since 2020, also he has tried Wimpy's when it reopened a while ago and mentioned that it was probably the best burger Universal had. He probably would've mentioned it if he remembered.

Isn't it still considered seasonal? Universal crowd hasn't let up so it's been operational, but Universal still considers it a "seasonal" location. Last year I went twice and both times it was closed. Staffing issues at the time probably kept it from opening.

We just got back from a Universal trip, stayed at Sapphire Falls, and had the best time. My husband had an ODB twice. He loved it! We were blessed with beautiful cooler weather. Super trip!

Can confirm on vivo. I had the squid ink pasta and seafood last time. It was amazing. Plus any dish can be ordered gluten free, which, is a rarity at universal.

To me, the Coke Starlight tastes like cotton candy but not in an overpowering way, it’s not cotton candy forward but more slight cotton candy aftertaste. Side note. You have to try the Pepsi Nitro draft cola. It was a hit at my house and the nitro makes it smooth and creamy. It tastes like an old fashioned cola. ❤️ From a cola addict. Lol

From the way you're talking about it, it's as if you either haven't seen the movie yet or aren't remembering the details right. o: Dumbledore's brother runs the hog's head and *technically* the movie is a "fantastic beasts" movie. I do think they need more "secrets of dumbledore" specific merch though. :3
