Nostalgic adventures are wonderful. Freezing or not, you've got to get in that waterfall! Nice trip!

Hello Bradley, One of my favorite drives from my childhood, living in Sedro-Woolley, we would often take this pass over to the east side of the mountains. And I enjoyed many hikes and camping trips all through this area in the high North Cascades in the 1970s. Thanks for sharing your trip and taking the time, Take care and be well, Corey

Your trip made me think of my family trips when I was a kid some 40 years ago. We would go to Connecticut, to the pool in my grandmother's backyard. Very cool. Thanks Bradley!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Those were good times. Remember the "Vermin Pickle" drawing contest? Remember the yellow jacket that ate a square out of your arm? Gooood times.

Haha! I remember the name "Vermin Pickle," but I can't remember anything beyond that! And yes, that yellow jacket was creep. Big time.

Kinda reminds me of Upstate NY (the other NY), certain parts of it anyway especially the mountains which are Adirondack,Catskills and a part of the Appalachian, it’s like a breath of fresh air compared to the city life. Glad you had a great vacation and your childhood memories brought back to you!

Cycled through Winthrop and stayed in Masama for a few hours and then rode over the pass to White Rock BC. It was a 1000 km ride in under 75 hours. Nice place.

Beautiful territory. Washington is one of the 9 states I haven't been to yet. Everything in the West is fantastic.

Every time I go back to a place from my childhood like this it always feels much smaller than I remember. Granted I’m a much larger human being now but it feels like the place shrunk.

Love the Video Bradly. Reminds me of back in the 90's, we had this 9mm CamCorder that we'd take camping with and video the whole trip. Eastern Wa and Western Wa are so different. Eastern is a Western Cowboy Desert, while Western is a complete RainForest. Do you remember when they were talking about making two States by seperating Western and Eastern Wa? I want to take a trip to Wenatchee, Levenworth, be so fun. Oh, Yeah. I just became a Maniac Bradly. I've been thinking about supporting one of my favorite channels, so I just went for it.

I agree about the discrimination against tall people. I've had to bend almost double to get under the shower head in some hotels. I'm not that tall, 6'3", but it can get very frustrating.

Peter! So nice to hear from you! I hadn't been on a horse since I was a very small child. Haha. I just assumed I'd be comfortable on one. My particular horse's gait (his name is Tuxedo), was REALLY rolling and uneven, so I was a bit worried when we first started moving, but it didn't take long to get used to it. I ended up really enjoying the experience.

Discrimination against tall people. I am totally on your side there. Never knew I was balding till I installed a taller mirror. I am the shortest in my family at 6’3.
