Great video Angus as always. Indian do make some quality bikes and have a very unique style that I really like. If only I had a garage big enough!! Excellent shout out for mental health and biking, as you say riding is a great way to help and the benefits go a long way to give a positive mind set.

Many thanks I appreciate it and really glad you enjoyed the video 👍 Love the Indian bikes, especially the new Chiefs! Haha you may need an air craft hanger for this beauty 😉 A great experience to ride. That is it, motorbikes put you in a positive mind set which filters into the rest of your life! Cheers

Hmm… I’m not sure about your wobbly entrance there but I’m sure that this is too much bike for me! 😜 If I want to have fun on a road trip looking THROUGH a windshield, I’ll take my MX5 for a spin, hahaha! Great video Angus! The best part was the "moving on good girl" moment… 🐎👌🏻 Cheers!

Pass the sunglasses lol Good venture into the brand but, the ott styling of indian's will always push people to hd. Dealer support and accessories exhausts etc, will never be as good as hd in the uk either. Personally think, hd bikes retain their residual values better too, and with as any big £spend£, can be an important factor as well. Are very er.....different though, and to some that's good enough. Big comfy cruisers are tops, loads of torque to use, and more than enough speed to buckle the max speed limit. Two up touring trips with lots of luggage an absolute breeze. Good vlog mate.....stay safe, and keep up the good work.🤙🏁
@redangrevival

👍 I love these sunnies haha! Yup can definitely see the ott point you make, they are very much in your face. Also Indian having gone under a few times I can see why customers feel safer with HD. Loved riding this bike though as I am sure I would a big HD tourer as well 😁 I am a fan of the Indian classic styling though, great American vibe. Thanks I appreciate it and glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers

It was funny when you got to the 'bigger A class road'. That's what we call a small farm road in the US. It's what we prefer to ride on for please rides so we don't need to get on the big highways. I guess that's why we tolerate the big bikes here.
@redangrevival
@redangrevival Жыл бұрын
haha yes I can imagine that is a tiny road for you! Absolutely, definitely explains why you can get away with such big bikes. I had a blast riding it though 👍

Indian - was the first motorcycle company but Harley owners will be quick to point out that Indian has been in and out of business several times. - It's all just marketing at this point. Most reviews on KZbin conclude that the Roadmaster or Pursuit is "the" most comfortable cruiser on the road. Some would argue that BMW or Goldwing are better, but neither of those have the riding position flexibility of the Indian - personal choices for sure. I will probably end up on either a Springfield, Roadmaster or Pursuit. Just can't make up my mind which way to jump. The Springfield would be the Simple is Better solution. It's a bit lighter but not enough to matter. It has a windshield like Speedy, and lacks the 7" touch screen Ride Command & Stereo - lower fairings and trunk - you can add a trunk & easily enough. Soft lowers look okay - the hard lowers look terrible without a fairing. Roadmaster & Persuit are almost the same - Pursuit is water cooled - fixed fairing, Roadmaster Air cooled - fork mounted fairing. The Persuit is the performance option. So - is simple better or is full tech better? It'll be a few months before I finally decide I think.
@redangrevival
@redangrevival Жыл бұрын
Must admit, I do like the look of the Springfield in chrome finish with the old style windscreen like Speedy!! Beautiful bike. That would be my choice 👍 I suppose pillion comfort you would be marginally better off with the Persuit or Roadmaster. Good luck with your choice, I am very jealous! Awesome bikes!

@@redangrevival If you mount the trunk on it - it should be the same. The configurator is doing weird stuff as they just released new models. I like the new colors a lot more than 2022.

Blimey, that's some unit. It needs to 'come on song' below 3,000 rpm for a cruiser, doesn't it?
@redangrevival
@redangrevival Жыл бұрын
Yes it does deliver the power a bit lower then 3,000rpm but the sound of the engine does not come alive until above 3k! Great experience to have the day on one 👍

UK expat, now US and 'new' to New Hampshire- I sure see the HDs and Indians rule the road. First time today, I saw a Japanese bike while exploring on foot. The behemoth cruisers are an acquired taste. A bit like Marmite, if you're English. The weight is a big issue. If that fat ass puppy tips over; better have good health insurance for the Chiropractor. By coincidence, while watching Angus I see to the right a Srkcycle's video with the title "Why I HATE Indian Motorcycles" - but, not really.

Well I would say an acquired taste on this on my friend not my cup of tea and yes I would be one of those who would say not on our awful road here but she doesn't look to bad really .I have never liked those humongous bat wing fairings but that I will say suites the bike .For me it would be the 117 S Harley all the way but she ain´t that bad nice one 😉👌👍

Haha definitely an acquired taste!! Same I have always thought the bat wing fairing too big, but can see the benefits of it for sure. The Low Rider S 117 is peach, I would go for the ST model. Cheers, bit of a fun one 👍
