Enjoyed seeing the glass cane . Retired Physical Therapist I collect canes /wheel chairs . On a visit to Museum of American Glass in WV staff shared that glass employees could make canes with end of day glass to use / march in the Memorial Day Parade . Also, shared when a fellow employee passed they would all push their glass canes into the ground at gravesite and break off the end of the cane in remembrance/ leaving a piece of glass with their coworker .
